Eli Lilly Company DarwinLIMS 

Project Manager of the pilot release of the Global Laboratory Information Management System (GLIMS) at Eli Lilly's Clinton, Indiana facility.  DarwinLIMS Laboratory Information Management System, a product of Thermo.  This project was the pilot implementation.  The project involved the developed of 15 work teams across multiple departments. Thermo-Fisher’s Darwin is the product scheduled for implementation at all 23 Eli Lilly plants world-wide. Project included extensive experience with developing and managing project charters, project plans, project deliverables, work plans, resource allocation, cost and schedule estimates, productivity reporting, development process compliance, executive level presentations for project approval; gathering end-user requirements, technical documentation, developing and executing large test plans end-user testing and project timeline tracking. The project plan utilized deployment phases of SDLC and Scrum type elements in its overall management.  Extensive use of MS. Project. Some Prochain methodology.

BJC Dental Plan Erisco-Facets Managed Care Implementation. 

Project co-manager implementing Erisco’s Facets Managed Care application.  Coordinated vendor selection, initial project design phase and user implementation of BJC Dental Plan, Inc.’s transition from paper system to leading managed care application.  Project implemented on time during Y2K freezes and drop dead date.  Project involved installing new WINNT compatible hardware, Unix servers and WINNT Servers.  Facets is a Sybase data application written in C++.  MS Access was the reporting engine.  Directly managed the delivery of ID Cards, statement of benefits, provider checks and user security.  SDLC model, extensive MS Project useage.

Fitness Center Management application implementation. 

Functioned as project manager implementing BJC Fitness Center Kilogic retail point of sale and membership registration system.  Reviewed and selected vendor coordinated networking setup, and PC installations and moves.  Trained fitness center staff in basic system maintenance processes and procedures.  Assured operability for public go-live event with BJC CEO. 

BJC Health Coach analysis and implementation. 

Coordinated the modernization of the BJC Health and fitness staff for the BJC wellness “WellAware” program.

American Bottoms Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility, 

Business Analyst, Project Manager, and developer of database application for tracking laboratory testing of regional water treatment facility. In charge of design, development, full cycle testing, implementation and user training. Database utilized for local, state, Federal and private customer compliance.  Multi-user network database, includes billing and project costing application, statistical (graphical) quality assurance application, basic project management application. American Bottoms Regional Waste Water Treatment Facility.   Paradox for Windows applications, Windows 3.1 Win95/98 and LANtastic environments.  SDLC and RAD methodologies.

Provided PC support of new PC and software installations and support of Alpha servers.  WINNT 3.5, Windows 3.1 and Novell environments.

Deutsche Financial Services

PC support and upgrades. As a Business Analyst conducted database evaluation project to determine corporate direction in utilization of mid-range PC platform database development.  Tested and compared database products.  Converted external customer applications.  Conducted business analysis of company's regional office commercial credit management systems requirements.  Authored study of database comparison between Paradox for Windows 5.0, MS Access 2.0 and Lotus Approach.  Wrote financial assessment application for DFS credit office and external customer.

HealthSouth Rehabilitation Institute 

Medical rehabilitation facility billing and performance application.  Business Analyst, Project Manager, and developer of medical management reporting and insurance billing system.  Includes patient records, patient treatment charges, account balances, national standard insurance form printing and extensive specialized reporting.  Developed rehabilitation billing, reporting and performance application.  Medical management reporting HCFA 1500 and UB82 billing.  Included patient records, treatment charges, and extensive reporting. 

Anheuser Busch Companies

Visual Basic software quality assurance. As a Software QA Analyst and technical writer performed quality assurance and technical writing services in the development of Visual Basic (VB) interface application (Casper for Windows).  Worked in the transfer from an OS/2 platform of the IBM Metaphor Data Interpretation System (DIS) to a windows environment via and VB interface.  Performed the windows functionality testing of the product.  Wrote documentation for application help files, computer help center troubleshooting guide, and test plans. 

Provided installation and user support for the corporate headquarters of leading national electrical supply wholesaler.  Supported Novell Netware, Windows, MS Office Suite, Microsoft Mail, QuattroPro for DOS, Paradox for Windows applications and Lotus Symphony.  Installed and networked over 100 PCs in 11month period in addition to application and user support.  Redesigned supplier reporting bulletin board system (EDI), upgraded configuration and system security. 

Tested medical insurance systems in IBM and Honeywell mainframe environments.  Performed as a technical writer in designing user documentation for demographic reports.  Developed report production tracking system.  System was designed to track requests for ad hoc reports of customers and the work of report production operators. 

Provided support to marketing staff for system sales and installations.  Taught classes in DOS, WordPerfect, Symphony, Lotus III, and Paradox.  Developed office performance tracking system. System tracked classroom registrations, phone support and onsite service for eight system engineer office. Installed desktop systems and 3Com networks. 

Performed internal control review and system analysis of DoD mapping and distribution management systems.  Reviewed accounting, reporting, security and distribution procedures and policies.  Designed alternative reporting systems, recommended cost reduction measures.  Improved office automation system (improving response time to customer inquiries from two weeks to one day).  Awarded certificate of achievement for improved response time.  Received certificate of achievement for most adopted suggestions in 1982.  Additionally, performed duties as an Equal Opportunity Counselor.  Led and developed quality circle team.  Secret Clearance.
